In the first quarter of 2025, several photo and video applications stood out on the iOS platform in Europe, showcasing distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top performers based on data from Sensor Tower.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd began the quarter with a weekly revenue of approximately $1.5M, peaking at nearly $1.9M in mid-February. Weekly downloads showed a fluctuation, starting around 883K and witnessing a peak of 633K in mid-March. Active users slightly decreased from 24.4M to 20.7M over the quarter.

Remini - AI Photo Enhancer by Bending Spoons Apps ApS experienced a notable rise in revenue, reaching a high of $579K in early February. Downloads increased sharply in January, peaking at 768K, before declining to 695K by the end of March. Active users varied, peaking at 1.7M in late January.
